and what a year it has been!
I'm sure we have all been saying that at least five times a day, every day. But truly, what a year it has been. I will spare you the details of mine, since I am sure a lot of us experienced the same things this year due to Covid, but I will say a couple of things:
1-Tell the people you love that you love them. Tell them often, tell them loudly. We never truly know that can happen.
2-Set boundaries. Both personal and professional. This past year has proved to be a trying one, and many folks are dealing with unexpected situations that have been or can do some serious damage to their mental health and happiness. Boundaries are necessary, and they should be respect.
3-Have a little empathy. You never truly know what people are going through. Don't be the reason why someone's whole entire day was ruined.
4-It's okay to be not okay. Talk to someone if you need to. There is no shame in that.
This year has been truly hard for all of us. Here's hoping that the next year brings health, happiness, and that the world can get back to normal, or at least close to normal.
Shine Bright my loves,
-Marisa
